Congressman Neal Dunn has announced that he will not seek reelection. After years of public service, I thank him for stepping forward to serve our country and wish him a joyful retirement with his family. While Congressman Dunn and I often disagreed on policy and priorities, I believe he served with a genuine love of country.

For those of us who call North Florida home, this is an important moment. It is a time to take stock of what has worked, what has not, and what kind of leadership we need going forward.

As this race takes shape, one simple fact is clear: the same old political playbook will not meet the challenges we face today. We do not need another career politician treating this seat as a stepping stone. We need leadership grounded in real-world experience, integrity, and a willingness to do the work.

I am an Eagle Scout, an entrepreneur, a husband, and the father of two young boys. North Florida is my home. I grew up here, and my family, friends, and memories are spread across this remarkable region. I have spent my career building things, fixing what’s broken, and bringing people together to solve problems. My focus is simple: delivering for the people who live here, not chasing personal ambition or partisan division.

I am ready to serve you as our next Congressman and to take up the responsibility of leadership at this moment. That responsibility means focusing on the real challenges families face every day, from the cost of housing, childcare, and health care to the way automation and massive new data centers are reshaping our economy, our jobs, and the use of our land. It also means defending our Constitution, restoring trust, ending insider trading and corruption, and holding government officials and agencies accountable to the people they serve.

Representation should mean showing up, listening carefully, and being accountable to the people you represent, not to party leaders, donors, or insiders. My obligation will always be to the people who live here.

If we are going to make the changes this moment demands, it starts with talking to one another and being honest about what is working and what is not. I want to hear your ideas, your frustrations, and your priorities so we can fix the problems we face and build real solutions together.

You can call or text me at 850-242-4166 or email me at nic@teamzforflorida.com.

These conversations start now.

This is our moment to step forward, take responsibility, and work together to build a future that works for all of us.
